During a time of upheavals, people’s sense of justice often collides with one another.
They have a mix of emotions of pasts that were meant to be and deeply hidden secrets.
Believing in your convictions until the ends of the earth seems uncouth and clumsy,
but there’s also a sense of beauty to it as well.
The song’s title is “BURN,” and I’m happy I’ve expressed my passion for it with fellow artist WurtS.
Please enjoy our song and the incredible work that is Rurouni Kenshin. Thank you.

WurtS

I feel honored to have worked with yama on the wonderful anime series that is Rurouni Kenshin.
I selfishly felt a sense of sympathy toward the way we approached our singing voices, the works, and the way we expressed ourselves while hiding our true faces.
“Inner passion” is the key for the song “BURN,” representing the intensifying burning passions and hidden thoughts in Makoto Shishio and Kenshin Himura.
I hope that this song gives you the power to get up after you’ve fallen, no matter how many times.
