"suikousetten"by NOMELON NOLEMON (Sony Music Entertainment
(Japan) Inc.)
Written, Composed, and Arranged by tsumiki

“suikousetten” is a moon glade, which refers to moonlight reflected on the surface of a river
that sparkles and beams up to the sky.
The true strength depicted in Rurouni Kenshin is not about the techniques or physical
strength but emotions that come upon us instantly. I feel that this applies not only to
Kenshin but also to the other characters in the series. I wrote this song modeled after that
ephemeral moonlight that sometimes shines brightly on us, so strongly, so gently, creating
those “emotions that come upon us.” I would love it if you listened to the song, not only
using your ears but also your heart, thinking of your own experiences and those of the
characters in the series.

I’m very honored to be a part of a long-lasting series that has been loved by fans all over.
It is touching to see each character with a strong will to fight for the ones they love,
and I sang this song with all my heart to reflect that in those characters.
I hope this song and series reaches and touches your heart, too.
